New connections per second using rtm monitor

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a monitoring script checking the new connections per second value. Unfortunately there is no way to get the parameter - neither doing a grep, nor leading it into a file.

I'm doing this on a SPLAT R61 with the following command -->
rtm monitor -k interface -v conn acc=new

Any comments or maybe solutions for this ?

you could maybe use network quota in smartdefense? Set the value there which would be treshold and make it do an alert?

The network quota value is only for connections from one source. I need it over all interfaces independently from the source
