Default "The maximum number of open views has been reached" message

Today, when I tried opening SmartView Monitor -> Traffic -> Top Destinations -> one of the interfaces, I received the message "The maximum number of open views has been reached".

Funny thing is that on the other cluster member, it works fine.

I use VRRP cluster.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

I've had this happen quite often when monitoring our Nokia boxes.

You can do a

rtmstop
rtmstart

command sequence, which will reset the connection and allow Smartview monitor to connect and work once again. I am not sure of other platforms(since you mention a VRRP cluster, I assume you are using Nokia boxes?), but I would expect it would be simular.... There is also the rtm command..

Hope this helps...
