"Waiting" status; missing gateways in Gateway Status in SmartPortal

We're running R62 on a SPLat Management Station and two Nokia enforcement points. When I log into SmartPortal sometimes it works, but more often than not, one of the enforcement points shows "Waiting" and nothing resets it - not hitting Refresh, not going to Logs or Objects and back to Gateway Status. Nothing. Another problem is sometimes one of the Nokias is missing altogether. I know everything is fine and SmartView Monitor correctly displays everything. Is SmartPortal flaky or is there some fix for these problems? Thanks for your help.

R62 is not IE 7 Smartportal compatible. Try IE6.
