Default browsing slowdown

something very strange is going on here with my 1050ts. I recently updated my smart defense and pushed it to the firewall. since then everything has been crawling. this is starting to get nuts. never had this problem on the demo unit. tried to roll back to original config and that didn't work either.

NGX R65 HFA_25, Hotfix 603 with messaging security. Can someone help?

I have heard of issues in the past where an SMDF update turned something on/changed something that started causing a problem which was fixed in the next update. A new one came out today, try that first, then try support. Narrow down the problem as much as you can (e.g. what's slow).

well at first we totally killed the SD and that helped, then I went back and totally redid it manually. that seems to have helped. At this point we are looking into deploying a websense server to take the load off. gotta love it.

Just how many users are going through the 1050 and what is your external bandwidth?

external bandwidth is 2 separate t1s' doing load balancing and we are only talking about maybe 50 users total

Well you shouldn't have a load problem with only 3 mbps. You said disabling SMDF helped, if you set it back to defaults, do you still have the problem?
