Default Windows Media Player

Hi all,

Is there a way to enable only certain users access to streaming media using Windows media player without having to disable the blocking function of SmartDefense? We don't allow streaming media but 6 users in our Investor Relations dept need to access videos from a website. I can't seem to find a way around SmartDefense except to allow all access. We are using R55 right now. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thx

This is a real problem. I don't know of any way around it.

However, I met with a Check Point guy from Israel a few months ago and made a feature request to enable Smart Defense exclusions for specific hosts. Don't know if that info will get back to the dev team, however we may see it one day.

Acidio,

I was afraid that was going to be the reply I got... Thanks for the info.
