| Does anyone know if there is a SmartDefense string/option available for blocking Windows Live Messenger (WLM) in NGX R60? There are several options for MSN Messenger but these do not appear to stop or even identify WLM. |

| for R65 there is a SR article: sk35174 but what to type for <host name> ? Or is it exactly that that you have to type? Log in to the SmartDashboard. Open the SmartDefense tab -> Web Intelligence -> HTTP Protocol Inspection -> Header Rejection. Go to the HTTP Headers section and click 'Edit'. Click 'Add'. Enter the following information: Application name: MSN Live Messenger Header Name: <host name> Header Value: selest 'Specific' and enter \gateway.messenger.hotmail.com* Click OK and then OK again. Scroll down to the Default Protection section. Select the Active mode. Select the 'Apply to all HTTP traffic' checkboxin the Protection scope section. Scroll to the bottom and verify that the MSN Live Messenger checkbox is selected as well as all the other MSN Messenger protections. Install the Security Policy. |
