Default Flows traffic acceleration

I am having this warning after i enabled the TCP sequence verifier from the smartdefense tab of my management server NGX R61 and push the policy to IP 2250 and IP 560 enforcement module.
------------------------
Warning: This gateway supports flows traffic acceleration. TCP Sequence Verifier (SmartDefense) will not be enforced on accelerated connections [ Flows warning no. 66
------------------------
The enforcement FW are configured as clusters. The Management Server is running on Sun Solaris.
Please let me know if we can turn of the "flows traffic acceleration" feature, and if we do that what to loose.

Thanks

Flows is a Nokia-specific feature for speeding up connections. If you turn it off, connections will be slower.

SecureXL is the next generation of it. I thought that you had to run SecureXL on the 2250.

I believe that with later IPSO versions, you can make a change at the IPSO level that will let you enable TCP sequence verifier and still have flows or similar.

Read the various docs in the Nokia KB about it.
