Very slow when installing policy

Hi All,

anyone has experience very slow process when installing policy? I have nokia and it's stand alone installation of checkpoint R62. The policy installation took about 2-3 minutes. The connection was fine, no disconnection. the resource (CPU, and memory also fine). the smartcenter is able to resolve the firewall main ip address. (since it's in one machine)
so what could be the problem? need advise please...

what type of Nokia box? I can tell you that if you install IPSO 4.1 build19
and Checkpoint NGx R61 with HFA_01 on a Nokia IP130, the policy
installation will take about 10 minutes as a standalone firewall. Nokia
IP380 fares a little better at about 6.5 minutes.

For Checkpoint NGx, I would go with at least at a minimum IP560.
Anything lower such as IP380 and 530 just can't do the job.
They use Pentium III 721 Mhz, what do you expect?

I am using Nokia 350 with NGX R62 inside. Yeah it seem took forever when installing policy.
I feel that this installing policy delay just happen in last 1 month. So probably there's something wrong or there is any workaround that can be done, probably?

You check for any type of network issues?
seeing errors on the interface, packet loss, etc.?
