No machines eligible for policy installation

If you see this error message when attempting to install the security policy, you have not defined any objects in such a way that FireWall?-1 knows it can install a security policy on them.

You should have at least one workstation object defined as an "Internal" (versus external), "Gateway" (versus host), and the "FireWall-1 Installed" checked. I often refer to this kind of object as an "internal gateway with FireWall-1 installed."

If you are managing some other sort of object that runs Check Point's stateful inspection engine, you need to make sure you define the object as internal with FireWall-1 installed (as appropriate).
