Hi Guys Haven't made changes to firewall for 3 weeks and now when i try and push a policy I get the following : Advanced Security NG "/opt/CPngcmp-R60/conf/updates.def", line 293: ERROR: syntax error Advanced Security NG "/opt/CPngcmp-R60/conf/updates.def", line 383: ERROR: syntax error Advanced Security NG "/opt/CPngcmp-R60/conf/updates.def", line 388: ERROR: syntax error Advanced Security NG "/opt/CPngcmp-R60/conf/updates.def", line 391: ERROR: syntax error Advanced Security NG "/opt/CPngcmp-R60/conf/updates.def", line 394: ERROR: cannot find <block_fetch> anywhere Advanced Security NG "/opt/CPngcmp-R60/lib/asm_dynamic_props.def", line 23: ERROR: cannot find <imap_inspection> anywhere Advanced Security NG Compilation failed. Any of you guys had this before the gateway is an NG R55 management server is R60.Thanks

Looks like you've done a Smart Defense update. You could try doing another update, in case it's something that was broken, then fixed. Also turn off imap inspection if it's turned on, and you don't need it - might fix at least one of those errors. Have you changed any Smart Defense settings, or just done an update?

Not sure if it's the smart defense as the last time that update was in july 3 months before this error started occuring any other ideas that might help as it doesnt want to push a policy at all, also if I update the smart defense will it cause errors if the management station is a r60 and the node a r55?

Hi guys thanks for all the help,I have managed to sort it out though, seems that the rule base object might have gotten a bit mixed up.So I saved the rule base under a new name, exactly as it was without making changes to anything and viola it worked.
