Default Cannot start SmashDashboard

Hi all,

I use 2 PCs running VMware. The 1st VMware station on the 1st PC is installed SecurePlatformPro.On this machine, I install Checkpoint Ent.Pro and SmartCenter; the 2nd VMware station on the 2nd PC is install SmartConsole.
After running the SecurePlatform, I run SmartDashboard on the 2nd. But the SmartDashboard cannot start and I got this: "Connection cannot be initiated. Please make sure the Server "x.x.x.x" (the Smartscenter IP add) is up and still running and that you are defined as a GUI Client"

I don't know how to solve
Thanks for any guidelines

On the management server side, check to see if the Check Point processes are running. cpstat fw. cpstat mg. ps -ef|grep fwm

If those look OK, try running "telnet <IP of mgmt server> 18190" on the Smart Console system, and check that TCP connectivity is working correctly.

Have you run cpconfig on the management server, and added GUI clients (the IP address of your SmartConsole system) and set an admin password?
