Default problems with mail alerts

Hallo,

I want configure an mail alert. I have done this:

Dashboard -> Policy -> Global Properties -> Logs and Alert -> Alert Commands

- "Send email alert to Smart View Monitor" und "Run mail alert script" activated
- "Run mail alert script":
/opt/CPsuite-R61/fw1/bin/sendmail -s alert -t 10.200.10.3 john@test.de

10.200.10.3 is the IP-Address of the ExchangeServer. In the Rulebase I have insert in Track: Mail.

In the SmartView Tracker I see the Alerts with an "!", but I don't received any email. What is wrong?

Thank you,
Stephan

I could be wrong but I believe you need to specify a from email address so it would be for example:

/opt/CPsuite-R61/fw1/bin/sendmail -s alert -t 10.200.10.3 -f CheckpointAlerts@domain.com john@test.de
