Default Authentication to Smart Center

Hello.

I used to have direct access to the Smart Center server. Now that I have moved office I cannot afford the time to physically access the box to use Smart Dashboard. How can I configure the firewall to allow me access to the server via Smart Console. I've already defined myself as a user and IP address of the GUI machine using the configuration tool on the Smartcenter Server. I've created an object for my machine on the server and made a rule allowing the service FW1_clntauth. That didn't work. So I've tried, putting in ssh (for Nokia login), CPMI, CPD, https and that hasn't worked either.

However, I have added an any service rule and that seems to have worked. I'd obviously like to tie this down. Any suggestions as to what I'm missing ?

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Authentication to Smart Center

May be problem wuth NAT or routing. Check Tracker for information about dropped connections. And use fw monitor for debug.
For using Smart Clients you need to allow CPMI only.
