Default NG-FP3: Failed to create database revision

Hi,

Checked Checkpoints knowledgebase and could not find a relevant answer to this.

NG-FP3 on Solaris would not create a database revision policy. Watching fwm in debug mode reveals it failed to copy InternalCA.C from the $FWDIR/conf directory. Checking that directory and you see an InternalCA.NDB and no InternalCA.C file. Looks like it was changed to NDB format at some point. Grepping for InternalCA.C in the conf directory revealed mv_doc.C contains a list of files probably used for revision control. Taking a backup first, I modified the mv_doc.C file and changed InternalCA.C to read InternalCA.NDB and presto database revision works again!

Just thought you would like to know.

Regards
