| You have to connect to the management station with the same version of GUI that is installed on the management station. R60 management station can manage firewalls that are a previous version if that is what you are asking. |

| By default a mgmt server runnign a newer version is backward compatibe for earlier versions of Checkpoint enforcement points. During the installation, there are backward compatability packages installed. Check to ensure they have been installed. You can however only connect to the mgmt server with the same or newer gui client. |
