Default Install on Column mentions: "Policy Targets"

Hi,

If the Install on column in Security Tab of the SCS GUI mentions :

"Policy Targets"..What does it mean..?!

Does it mean all the enforcement modules or something else..?!

Default Re: Install on Column mentions: "Policy Targets"

If you look at the Policy Menu in the SMARTDashboard then there is an item called Policy Installation Targets.

This allows you to specify which of your Check Point modules that the policy can be installed to.

By default it will be any Check Point module, however you can specify specific modules to be the target.

If you have seperate policies for different Firewall gateways then this is a great feature as prevents you from install PolicyA to FirewallB and PolicyB to FirewallA.

Policy Targets, in the Install Column means that the rule would be installed to all Check Point gateways that the Policy can be applied too.
