But if the Backup is in the package an should be ready to sent, the process ask for the Password again. What is wrong ?

Hi darkarchon

this seem to be normal for the command line
all my gateways and SmartCenter do the same thing when I try to use the SCP switch to backup or snapshot and send to an SCP server
Havent tried with a script or scheduled backup yet.

Worst case you could use ssh certificates for the user auth, that would get around you having to provide the password...

I even did this workaround, but if you write a script, making a snapshot and going on to make an scp with an certificate, it seems as the script repeats himself. the messages from the snapshot "will you realy make a snapshot....." repeats on the screen.

The snapshot was made an transmitted to the scp server, but the message looks not good.

And realy, why did Checkpoint insert the Parameters, if they can not be used ?

Is there no other way to make a full backup of the system and bring it to a remote system ?

Thx and best regards
