Default Scheduled back up of SmartCenter server?

I need to find a way to do a scheduled back up of our R60 SmartCenter server. I'm currently using the upgrade_export command within the SPLAT OS and then using FTP to move that file to an FTP server. I do this manually at this point. I chatted with someone from CheckPoint support and they said there is a way to script it, but I couldn't find it on their SecureKnowledge site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
