| Ok Guys Im in real need of some help here. I recently had a nokia IP440 running NG54 with Intelli that was a standalone all in one solution. The objective was to move the Smartcenter of the nokia platform onto window 2003 and upgrade the SC to NGX62. i ran the upgrade_export until i fixed all warnings. The upgrade_import completed successfully allbit with some warnings, but it did say finished completed successfully. OK the windows 2003 server has different hostname and IP address, so i am having problem running fwm sic_reset as when i load the smartdashboard anything looks good ie loading objects, loading rules, creating smartmap has been successful, then immedaitely after that i get the following Internal Error [12] while handling object. Server error is:N/A. (Code:0x0, The Operation Finished Successfully). You click on the ok button twice and they smartdashboard crashes.:-( I have loaded new licenses for NGX62 agianst the internal IP of the SC. I no i will need to reset the sic but as i cannot enter smartdashboard i having problems deleting the internal Certificate Authority, and get the following error C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> fwm sic_reset ***************** Warning: **************** This operation will reset the Secure Internal Communication (SIC). The internal Certificate Authority will be destroyed and Check Point Componen will not be able to communicate. You will have to perform the following operations to enable communication: 1. Re-initialize the internal Certificate Authority (use cpconfig). 2. Restart Check Point Services (cpstart, cpridstart). 3. Reset SIC on each Station that is managed by this SmartCenter Server. 4. Re-establish Trust with each Station that is managed by this SmartCenter Server. ******************************************* This operation will stop all Check Point Services (cpstop) Are you sure you want to reset? (y/n) [n] ? y *** Checking IKE Certificates *** There are IKE Certificates that were generated by the internal Certificate Authority. Please remove them (using the SmartDashboard) so that the internal Certificate Authority can be destroyed. SIC Reset operation could not be completed C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> Has anyone ever done this senario and got past the internal error [12] Any help will be very much appreciated Cheers seanw Last edited by seanw; 2007-10-27 at 10:45. |
