| Hi Folks, I've got a problem with Policy Editor / Management Server, running ver 4.1 (old I know): I was connected to the Managment Server via Policy Editor, but this connection was broken due to network problems. Now, when I re-connect the GUI show no policies at all, even though it is connecting to the Mgmt Server. Logging is unaffected and I can verify through the GUI that the Enforcement modules still have the latest Policy installed. Does anyone know how I can recover these policies, what utilities I could use? The Management Server is installed on a Solaris box. Any help is appreciated. |

| Hi Do you have firewall backup so that you can again import the backup using the Checkpoint upgrade tools. Or have you created the Database revision control versions? First check the name of policy running on Gateway through the Smartview monitor and then try to open that policy in Dashboard by File-->Open. I hope this will help you. Regards Ranjit |
