You've installed VPN-1 Gateway components on your SmartCenter server. Re-install, and make sure you only install SmartCenter, NOT VPN-1.

hi

now i have installed only install SmartCenter, NOT VPN-1. now i am able to ping both sides, but the problem is i am not able to reinialise the SIC, it is giving error on mgmt svr when i try to reset and reinitialise it. the error shown is

SIC status for xxx.xxx.com not communicating
peer sent wrong DN: CN=xxx.xxx.com,O=xxx.xxxx
*** try to reset SIC at the peer and reestablish trust with peer.

Actually i took backup of conf and database folders of previous setup and replaced the existing conf and database folder with these two folders on the fresh installation setup.and also i am not getting logs on smartracker.

any help please

Don't replace the conf and database files from the original setup.

Do a clean install with just SMARTCenter on the box.
