Default SmartCenter on VMware issue

Hi guys,

I try to run NGX R65 Smartcenter server on vmware workstation 5.5.3/windows 2003 server/bridge mode, I can't ping from server to smartserver. when I type "arp" on expert mode, it shows "incomplete". any thoughts ? thanks in advanced.

I usually add another ip address in the same subnet as the vm to my machines physical Local Area connection. So for example if your ip address on vm is 10.1.1.1 make another ip under the advanced section of tcp-ip 10.1.1.2. With that being said make sure you did not goof and add the fw the easy test is run fw unloadlocal on the command line of the smartcenter.
