Recently upgraded one of my edge units to the 7.5.51x firmware. Since the upgrade I am not able to connect via https. I do seem to be able to push a policy from smartcenter, and I do seem to be able to receive the logs from it, but to actually log in doesn't seem to work. VPN Connections are still up as I am seeing traffic flowing normally. Any Ideas?

Unless already done, try updating your libsw files to correct version (matching version of firmware) on your smartcenter and then push policy / update to Edge. Could be something like that depending on policy layout.

Are you trying to remote in from WAN?? Did your security policy allow http/https access from your ip or whichever ip?? Since you are managing the edge with smartcenter, your rules have to account for that too..

make sure you're using https://x.x.x.x:981 rather than standard https. everything should work much more smoothly then :)

Sorry but I have to disagree here, the VPN will remain up and running as you cannot push any new policy killing the current VPN. You will get an error in the log of the Edge stating you have a wrong version numberwhen it tries to load the new policy and reverts back to the old. Depending on the setting in the Edge you should be able to get through the tunnel with http or https when going over the internet you can use http://x.x.x.x:981 where x.x.x.x is the Internet reachable IP of the box and in the management page you have to have your source IP or any enabled to be allowed in. Firstly I would try to reboot the box and see if that resolves the issue. Next to that ask a local user to do a https session to the LAN IP. Regards, Maarten.
