Default Clear connection to VPN-1/FireWall-1 R55 ?

Hi,

My environment is:
1. Checkpoint FireWall Server: NG with Application Intelligence (R55) on Windows 2000 AS machine.
2. OPSEC LEA client: developed on OPSEC SDK 6.0 API

Using Authenticated connection, I can connect to the Server and get log record. But if I use Clear connection, the session will end immediately after session establishing.

From the SDK 6.0 document, at page 49, the section "Configure the OPSEC Client application", it said "For a clear connection that is not SIC based ( for example, with a Server running VPN-1/FireWall-1 version 4.1.2 or lower)...". Does this mean that only old Server versions before 4.1.2 support clear connection ?

Any help is welcome.

Yao
