 FireWall-1 and IPX FireWall-1 and IPX By default, most UNIX system does NOT come with an IPX network protocol stack (though NT does). Without such protocol stack, a system will not process or forward IPX (non-encapsulated) traffic. That is true whether or not FireWall-1 is installed.
