| Hi Chaps, I am hoping someone out there can help explain a couple of things about MEP’s and Office Mode for me. I am thinking about instigating a MEP environment for our two Firewall clusters in geographically different environments as we need to consider DR situations (Currently all SecuRemote traffic goes to only one Cluster). I therefore have several questions relating to this and also a spin off job of switching our SecuRemote users to Office Mode. Q1. As both Clusters are managed by the same SmartCentre Server i.e. contains all the objects for the SecuRemote users on the original cluster, do I simply add the same rule (more or less) to the second cluster and then configure a MEP? Q2. I am thinking a Primary/Backup mode MEP with a NAT Pool configuration would be best considered for several reasons. As a further complication I have also been asked to consider configuring Office Mode for all SecuRemote users. Is this possible without conflicting with the NAT Pool for the MEP? Q3. What SecurRemote changes if any would need to be made on the client side to get Office Mode to work? Any other suggestions or help would be gratefully received. Regards Gavrilo |

| OK I have just discovered Office Mode only works with SecureClient though this is not made very clear by Check Point. I guess this make this a dead question before it starts. Thanks anyway, Gavrilo |
