Hi We have a small problem with configuring office mode on a vsx(ngx) firewall, when we connect with secure client to the vs we get an office mode address but the subnetmaks is not correct. The office mode network object has a subnetmask of 255.255.255.192 but when I do look on the client site we get a subnetmask of 255.255.255.0. Any ideas? Does some one have a good link for the configuration documentation of office mode. Kind Regards Eduard Wijnands

I've seen SecureClient have odd subnet masks with OM IPs assigned through the ipassignment.conf file as well. Is the gateway assigning IPs outside of the 255.255.255.192 subnet range? Is it affecting access to other subnets within that OM class C? __________________ Its all in the documentation.

Thanks for the reply, I did not edit the ipassignment.conf file. I'm not sure if the wrong subnet mask is creating any problems. But we are not able to connect to an citrix farm behind the firewall. We can ping the servers, and have the correct rules in place. When we hide the office pool behind one of the interface of the VS, then we are able to connect to the citrix farm. I think this is a non related problem. I've not yet seen the FW is assinging IP's outside the 255.255.255.192, we are still testing this is so no users yet. Eduard Last edited by eduardw; 2008-05-11 at 04:28.
