Default SecureClient Topology Update clarification question

Hi all,

Apologies for a bit of a dumb question.

The R65 VPN Admin guide pdf (pg. 515) states:

Automatic update — If enabled, the site will be updated after the key exchange (according to the value of Update topology every ... hours).

Does this mean:
(a) every ... hours "of being connected via SecureClient", or
(b) every ... hours "of elapsed time regardless"

Basically I want my users to automatically update their topology either once a day or each time they connect.

Cheers

Elapsed time regardless. I believe the time period must expire before the client will update topology during the connection process.

I'm also dubious as to whether or not the client dynamically routes new networks received in the topology update while online [vs only creating routes during the initial connection process]. I want to say it doesn't do dynamic routes but I've never sat down to figure it out.
