When connecting through secure client wirelessly I am am to make a VPN connection no problem. However when I disconnect the VPN connection and also stop the checkpoint services I am unable to get out on the Internet. The only way I can access the web is by rebooting my PC. Does anyone know of a way around this? The only way around I have found so far is by disabling the security policy which is obviously not what I want to do. I am running the secure client NHG version 60 client.

Your desktop security policy is not configured correctly. Which is not your fault. It seems to be configured to drop all outgoing traffic when your are disconnected from VPN. Ask your firewall admin to adjust the desktop security policy for your needs. In the meantime it will only help you to disable the desktop security policy.

In SmartDashboard, inside your Policy for your remote access gateway you should have a tab that says "Desktop". There's an inbound and outbound section, in the Outbound see if there's this rule: Desktop: All Users@Any Destination: Any Service: Any Action: Accept You will then need to push the policy to the gateway, and then update your secureclient site in order to get the new desktop policy. __________________ Its all in the documentation.
