when exactly we use office mode and what are its advantages?

1. You can use the ipassignment.conf file to assign a specific OM IP address to a specific user. This allows the use of IP address-based rules and ACLs. I used it to allow me to connect to the SmartCenter when remote.

2. You can specify your internal DNS and WINS servers that the client will use for name resolution.

3. OM can allow a remote client to work if the place they are at uses the same IP address range as you use on your internal network. Example: You use 192.168.0.x internally and their home router assigns the same IP range to the remote computer. A different OM address will allow the VPN traffic to route correctly.

Actually, I found Hub Mode and Visitor Mode at least as valuable as Office Mode.
