Hi everybody, I'm new in this forum and this is my first query. I would that when a user starts a PC session, automatically the prompt to log on the SecureClient appeared in the screen. This is in order to avoid the user had to go to the SecureClient icon and had to push "Logon to policy server". Is it possible? I've been looking for commands but I haven't found it. Best regards.

If you enabled "Secure Domain Logon" Found under VPN Client -> Settings -> Options tab, the client would be prompted for their VPN credentials when logging into Windows. Otherwise you can try to use "Auto-Connect" [also found under Options], however you may not see consistency for when the user is prompted to logon.

Hi Melipla, thanks for your answer. I've Enabled Secure Domain Logon and rebooted my PC but when I log in the PC, it doesn't ask me for VPN credentials. In fact, I have to push Logon to policy server if I want to establish the VPN. Thanks!

Hi Pacofe: How are you logging into the PC? I had the same experience as you (SecureClient never asked for credentials when logging in at the GINA), but I was logging in using my UPN (user@domain). If I just put my user name in the logon box, then password, and manually selected my domain, then SecureClient woke up. I don't know if it is a bug or an intentional omission, but it took me a lot of troubleshooting to figure that out. Hope that helps! -mb

I told my users to not enter the password, just hit enter and SecureClient pops up if they are not in the encryption domain. Windows still barks wrong user (since no passwd provided) but the tunnel is still up and with the second windows login all went normal (even logonscripts).

Hi Morebeer, thanks for your answer. I hope is normal that SC ask automatically for a password when you try to connect to the site that you have defined. At least, that is our experience. But the question is if you can get that SC ask for a password when you are not trying to connect with your site. Thanks!
