Hi
How long you are facing this problem, I mean you faced problem suddenly or you have made some changes in the topology or in the firewall settings.Let me know then we will look for some another resolution.

But if everything was wotking fine and now you are facing some problem and you have not made any changes in the Firewall and all the VPN settings are correct then just restart the checkpoint services is cpstop/cpstart.

I hope this will help you.

Regards
Ranjit Singh

OK, so a single user out of X number of users is experiencing this issue. I have experienced this error with R60 HAF_02 SecureClient in VISTA. A reinstall of SecureClient in the few cases I had never resolved the issue.

Once I had the user at my location, they used their credentials on my laptop and had no issue, that ruled out the user's VPN profile. Then I used my login on the laptop that was not functioning and it failed with my credentials.

Uninstall, re-install, reboots, etc. nothing worked. I gave the laptop to the Help Desk and had them migrate the user's data to a freshly imaged laptop and no problem. They re-imaged the laptop having the issue and that laptop now works.

Who knows what caused any of this... Unless you collect logs from the client, it would be really difficult to tell. Sometimes it's just better to bite the bullet and start from scratch. Wish I could tell you something different but look at the bright side; you configured your stuff correctly or all users would be having issues. Re-imaging 1 PC is a small price to pay and much better than wasting hours troubleshooting for 1 client.
