Default office mode problems

I hope that someone can help me.

I have two remote sites that connect to a S@O 500 VPN that have been working solid for over a year. Both sites have two pc's each. I replaced one of the two PC's at each site. After I installed secure client SC_NGX_R60_HFA2_630000044.msi the network functions stopped working on both pc's. I had to completely uninstall the network adapter from XP and start over to get it to connect to the internet etc.. I then uninstalled the HFA2 and installed HFA1 which was on all of the pc's. I can now connect to the vpn but cannot ping the remote network or map a drive. NOTHING. on either pc.. I get the DHCP VPN ip address but I cannot ping the remote network. The other two older PC's work just fine. All are XP Pro SP2 with simple workgroup \ file sharing. I did get the new PC's to work by checking the route all traffic through this gateway but that stops all of the network printing / sharing on their local network. I have checked and rechecked each of the configurations against the working pc's. I have disabled windows firewall also.

Any ideas?

Default Re: office mode problems

I fixed it.

'Route All Traffic' mode is supported by the Check Point VPN client only in case it is installed in Extended View. I changed the installation type to Compact View.

To switch the Check Point VPN client (versions R56 or R60)from Extended View to compact view

You will have to delete the existing VPN site(s) and create a new ones after you make the switch.

Right-Click the SecuRemote/SecureClient icon in the tray icon.
Choose Settings from the menu.
Click the Advanced tab.
Check the Compact View button and click OK
The VPN client software will restart itself in Compact View mode
Create a new vpn sites.
