Default VPN-1 Gateway does not have enough remote access licenses

We have just upgraded our firewall from R55 to R65. Now our secureclients cannot connect to the new firewall as it returns an error message saying "vpn-1 gateway does not have enough remote access licenses".

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Just a few quick things to check...

Assuming you upgraded all of your licensing to NGX versions, if it worked before, it should work now on the new licenses.

You say SecureClient, so I assume that you have SecureClient Licenses available. They should list as: CPVP-VSC-xxx-NGX

The licenses should be attached to your management server and not the gateways.

To see if your policy server is running on your gateway: cpstat -f all polsrv

Output should look similar to this
Status Code: 0
Status Short Description: OK
Status Full Description: Policy Server is up
Product name: Policy Server
Major version: 5
Minor version: 0
Licensed users: 300
Connected users: 129
