Default SecuRemote LAN problem

Problem uploading files, the client is not even active just installed on the PC

Here’s the problem description:

If a user has SecuRemote (R60) NGX VPN installed on the PC (it doesn't matter if it is being actively used or not), the following symptoms occur:
When trying to UPLOAD a file to ProjectLink, if the file is over a certain size the upload will fail (you will get a page cannot be displayed error)
Downloads are not a problem.
Typically uploads seem to fail when the file is > 800kb, but this varies. It seems I can upload a larger file successfully during off hours. During business hours, a 1mb file will almost always fail, but during off-hours I have successfully uploaded a 4mb file (on the same PC). Uploads on small files always succeed.
I have tried uploading with Firefox and different versions of IE. In all instances, if the file is large enough, the upload will fail IF SecuRemote NGX is installed. This indicates it has nothing to do with IE.
If SecuRemote NGX is UNinstalled, uploads work perfectly fine. Once again, this indicates it has nothing to do with IE and probably nothing to do with any patches on the PC.
It obviously has something to do with SecuRemote NGX, but the problem occurs just by having it installed … even when a user is NOT using it and connects to ProjectLink via the LAN.

Beside ProjectLink even a function called “Dynamic save” or something...in Siebel is failing from time to time. Even this feature is accessed from the LAN and the SecuRemote is not active. The similarity is a file size related behaviour.

Any clue?
Thanks!

please run securemote/client debug and go through debug files and/or post output of those files here so we can see whats going on.

from securemote bin folder via command prompt issue
-sc debug on
then try uploading large file that fail
-after it failed do sc debug off

read the output of files (3 differend debug files, should be found on c:\)

I had a similar problem with using SFTP & SecureClient. For larger files the conneciton would just be aborted and the file transfer would fail. Unfortunately the fix was to update the Sun SSH server on the machine.

Are you using SecureClient R60 HFA 01? Out of curiosity, do you see the same behaviour with the Vista Beta (R60 HFA 02)?
