Default Creating Site skips the Authentication piece

I have a user that I installed a known good copy of SecureClient for NGX R60 on her WinXP home machine. When I go to create a new site, it skips some key steps.

I enter the site IP and click next. Usually, I see some authentication choices like SecurID, username and password, certificate, etc. Instead the next option is "Standard" or "Advanced" radio buttons. The Advanced gives connection options such as IKE over TCP, etc. Clicking next makes the client try to connect to the gateway, which will just fail. I am never prompted to enter a username and password.

I have reinstalled several times and rebooted several more. The machine is about 3 years old and has its share of widgets, security software, google desktop, IM apps, etc.

Anybody run into this before??

The first thing I would do is uninstall SR/SC and run cpclean (sk19771).

You might want to download the lateest client just in case there is a fix burried in side it.

I tried uninstalling and then running cpclean. I also installed the version from Checkpoint's site. Still no luck. Maybe its because the user has so much extra junk on the computer. What I mean is, maybe its not SC's fault.
