diffserv markings on floodgate

hi all i am trying to find out the function of siffserv marking in checkpoint qos.

does checkpoint retain the markings of packets marked by a downstream router?.

when i created a diffserv class called as voice and called it in the rule base. but where does it get associated in the qos policy. i mean when i call the voice class in the policy to which traffic the markings and the policy will be applied.

i don;t see that option in the policy for the diffserv.

can somebody help me on this.
