Hello Just started to setup QOS (Floodgate) and as soon as i setup a imcoming QOS rule i get the following error? Product: VPN-1 Pro/Express Interface: daemon Origin: FIREWALL Type: Alert Action: Information: FWD Error: Log(s) discarded due to unification process failure Any ideas? It doesnt occur when just incoming rules are setup. And it occurs any incoming QOS rules?

What version CP do you use? KB has some articles about this problem for version NG FP3. They recommend to install last HFA as always.

R61 doesn't have HFA now. In KB I found two documents. But I think they are useless in your case. (sk9702, sk17574). Did you setup Track (Log for example) for QoS rule? May be try to use Track-none for QoS Rule.

I have this same problem on fw cluster NGX R61. I report this problem to Check Point Support and wait for answers.

In my case: The problem occurs due to a bug in smart defense updates that create the same format number as another FW parameter. Solved: http://wow-it.blogspot.com/2007/01/l...er-solved.html Regards!
