Default R65 & IPSO 4.2

I'm having problems getting NGX R65 installed on a IP350. I've tried doing both upgrades and clean installs from voyager and from newpkg, but all with the same result:

If I install from Voyager, it looks like it installed fine, but the install log reveales that the install failed. If I install from newpkg it fails with the error message "Post-Upgrade of IPSO_wrapper_R65 failed!".

The upgrade log, /opt/CPInstLog/wrapper_R65.elg, shows the following error message:
Quote:
Entering to HF installation state...
Can't find CP PROFILE at /opt/CPsuite-R65/svn/tmp/.CPprofile.sh
Turning On /opt/CPfw1-50-04
************************************************** ***********************
*******************INSTALL/UPGRADE PROCESS FAILED*********************
In this case it downgraded to R54 again, but it failed with the same error regarding CP PROFILE even if I uninstalled R54 first and chose to install instead of upgrade.

Anyone seen this before? I couldn't find anything in the Nokia support base.

Have you tried to run cpconfig straight after the upgrade?

If it's a new box you could always just remove everything and install from scratch.

The problem is, that since the upgrade failed, the install procedure removed any traces of an R65 install and reverted back to the previous version. So runing cpconfig would run cpconfig for my previous cp product.

As I wrote above, I also tried to deactivate any previous installs and do an install instead of an upgrade. That attempt also failed with the same error message. :(

NGX R65 can not be upgraded from NG R54, you may need to upgrade R54 to R55 first, then upgrade to R65.

Your best bet is to run a clean install with IPSO 4.1 and a wrapper of R65.
Works like a charm, stay away from 4.2 on a 350.
