Default Upgrading single IP380 into Cluster configuration

I am new to checkpoint and have got a working single firewall VPN-1/FW-1 AI R55 on IP380 Nokia Appliance. I just want to add another IP380 to make it a redundant configuration so as to protect against an appliance failure.

Whats the best approach (including how to backup existing IP380) to add second unit into network without any risk of damaging the existing perfectly functioning Firewall.

I will appreciate any expert advise .....

Hi,

Do you have the Voyager interface set up on your IP380 so that you can use the Voyager GUI?

If you do there is a really easy to use little backup utility in it for backing up your IP380 configuration.
