I have a IP380 which is showing an old PC which no longer exists. 1) How can I clear the lichosts 2) Where can I find an IPSO command line set. I've searched the Nokia site to no avail.

1) https://secureknowledge.checkpoint.c....do?id=sk10200 "VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG and VPN-1 NG with Application Intelligence From the command line, stop firewall services with cpstop. Remove the files $FWDIR/database/fwd.h (AI) and $FWDIR/database/fwd.hosts. Type cpstart to start firewall services. Type the command fw tab -t host_table -x to clear entries in the host_table table. VPN-1/FireWall-1 4.1 Type $FWDIR/bin/fwstop to stop firewall services. Remove the files $FWDIR/database/fwd.h and $FWDIR/database/fwd.hosts. Type $FWDIR/bin/fwstart to start firewall services. Type fw tab -t host_table -x to clear the connections table." 2) You need account on nokia site. In support section search "CLI Reference Guide". And then select guide for your version IPSO.

I not sure if this is Checkpoint scaremongering, but I was told to minimize the number of times I cleared down the lichost and host_table files. "fw tab -t host_table -s" will show you overall count of the host_table. "fw tab -t host-table -x" will clear down the host-table count. "fw lichosts" will show the details of the host machines. HTH.
