Number of connections behind a single IP address? Contributed by BenSmith Published in geeklog Thursday, June 26 2003 @ 12:52 PM EST Published in oldfaq 2002-Dec-08 17:35 dwelchATphoneboyDOTcom In FireWall-1 4.1 and earlier, the maximum number of connections you can hide behind a single IP address was 25,000. In FireWall-1 NG, as long as no more than 50,000 connections go to the same IP address, you will not run into any limits imposed by HIDE-mode NAT.
