Default Win2K Static NAT - Aaarggh

Must be static NAT day !.

NG AI R55 (FP3) on Win2K (I know, they have just agreed to go secure platform), stand-alone environment (I know again !)

Ok, we just changed ISP usual changes, automatic NAT rules work, manual ones don't work, added a static arp on win2k box, still no good.

fw ctl arp shows me all auto nat settings I expect to see but not the missing manual one I want to see.

Is it true that I have to put a local.arp in %FWDIR%\conf. If so do I just put the manual ones in ?.

Thing is it worked prior to ISP change and I can find no local.arp file with old settings in it.

Any ideas welcome.

Cheers,

George

Hello All,

I had to add a static arp entry on the upstream router (or at least I had to get our ISP do do it) now all is well

Ta,

George
