Default SNMP Problem

Hallo,

I want to make a SNMP communication between two networks. Between the two networks is allowed any service. In an another rule I have expicite allowed the service snmp and snmp-read. But I can see in the tracker, that the snmp communication ist droped by the rule 0. There aren't any further information why.
What is the problem? Can somebody help my?

Thank you!

Stephan

Thank you for your answer. I have found the application intelligence under smart defence. But there I haven't found the SNMP rule. There I can only configure HTTP, FTP, SMTP, DNS and VoIP. Where can I find the SNMP rule?

This depends on which firewall version you are using. SNMPv3 AI rule is supported from R55W. CPAI5400

I use the version NG with Application Intelligence R55 Build 584. What can I do that the SNMP communication is working?

Could it be, that the version of snmp is the reason for the problem? Could it be, that this fw version couldn't work with the newest version of snmp?
