Default New node/host/gateway to Track

Just wanted to know that in checkpoint NGX when you add new node/host/gateway in Dashboard, how do you make that appear on your SmartTracker? For example, in the Tracker I am trying to look at the logs and filter for it but I cannt see this node that I added so I have to manually type in the IP to find the logs.

Thanks.

I think at minimum you need to save policy with a new object. Programme maximum - save and then close and open SmartTracker

After I created the new objects, I have save the policy. I even pushed the policy to my firewall. Then I exited the Dashboard & Tracker and logged back in but it didnt show up in Tracker. So then I also rebooted my management server but it still did not appear in Tracker. I can see these objects in the Dashboard.

What do you mean by "Programme maximum"?

Thanks.

Is tracker resolving anything?

All you should need is to save the policy

You shouldn't need to but try installing the database on the management station.

If you are running the log server (Tracker) on a separate server, you will definately need to install the database to it each time you make any type of change. From Dashboard - Policy - Install Database. Choose the proper device to install it on.
