Default FTP Error

I am trying to ftp files from the SecurePlatform to a FTP Server.

It keeps coming back with the below error

ftp> put *1302.tar
local: *1302.tar remote: *1302.tar
202 Command PASV not implemented
Passive mode address scan failure. Shouldn't happen!

Please can anyone help.

Thanks

May be problem with FTP server. Do you check log on it, for example?
You give us little information.

Yes, login was successful from the logs but it just keeps coming back with the same error. I have tried from another NT box to the same FTP Server and that was successful only from the SecurePlatform that I get this message.

Pls what other information do you need and I will get it. Is there any other way I can get the patches onto the SecurePlatform if this does not work?

Thanks

May be your ftp server doesn't support Passive mode? Change mode on ftp client from passive to active or use simple tftp server, or see next thread SPLAT - HFA_02 installation
