| Dear all, I installed policy on a CheckPoint firewall cluster (2 servers with SPlat R55 HFA12). Afterwards, the CPU of one firewall jumped from about 20% to 100% and did not fall back even after a few hours. Eventually, I needed to reboot the firewall to make it normal again. One day later, my another firewall in the same cluster got the same problem as well. This time I didn't do any policy installation. In both cases, no processes were shown to be CPU-intensive when I ran the "top" commands. Did anyone face the same problem before or know any solution? Thanks a lot. K.H. Cheung |

| Check Release Notes for last HFA, some problems with high processor loading was resolved in it. May be some of them resolve your problem. How do you monitor CPU loading? |
