Default Checkpoint NG with AI for Dummies

Hi All

I'm trying to put together a Dummies Guide for Installing / Upgrading Nokia Platform for NG with AI.
Anyone interested in making some suggestions?
I'm a dummy myself and would really appreciate any input.

I dont know if anyone is doing something like that but I know that I'd definitely benefit from it because I am also a Checkpoint newbie.

If you have some troubles with installing - please, describe it more detailed. And ALL will help you, I think.
And these decisions will be a part of smth like FAQ.

There was a nice collection of CheckPoint on Nokia FAQs on www.digitalmigrations.com . Unfortunately they are now closed. You can look what was inside via www.archive.org (e.g. http://web.archive.org/web/200403290...igrations.com/ ) PDFs are not cashed :(
You can try to collect digitalmigrations PDF's from Nokia fans.

nokia do have a guide titled "VPN-1/FireWall-1 for Nokia
Getting Started Guide" which I have used as a foundation for my documentation.

might be worth using as a reference. It doesn't have enough screen shots for me but it does provide a sensible working process for an install.

I can mail it to you if you can't get it.

Hi Lackie

Is this on the Nokia site, cause I tried searching on both nokia.com and Checkpoint.com and was not able to find it on the search.
Please give url's if possible.

Go to the www.nokia.com/support -> "Support for Business
Products" and get one. You need to have you Nokia appliance Serial Number for documentation download.

Thanks Sergej.
Appreciate the input.

Looks like everything that is needed is out there already.
I'll have to find some other pet project.
