Default disconnecting mapped network drives

Hi,

We have problem in retaining the Network mapped drives.

We are using the Checkpoing AI , users who are terminated in the in this FW,

Having problem in retaining the Network Mapped drives.

Very frequently the connected networks are disconnected.

Any one can help us to resolve the problem .

Anand,

Can you supply some more details. are the mapped drives actually traversing the firewall (going across it's interfaces to get from one network to another).

If so, it might be the TCP timeout that is disconnecting users (when the connection is idle for 1 hour or more). I can't be sure if this is the problem you're experiencing. If it is you can change the tiemouts on the advanced tab of the service in question or globally from Global Properties > Stateful Inspection'.
