unable to get Internet connection through checkpoint

Hello

This is Prabhu from India. I have one query regarding checkpoint firewall. How can i get Internet connection through Checkpoint firewall integrated with Alteon Switched Firewall. I have configured as follows:

Interface 1 : 192.168.10.5 ( for Private Network)
Interface 2 : 210.212.255.200 (Public IP for External Network)

Management Server : 192.168.10.10

Gateway : 210.212.255.193 (router IP)

private Network range is 192.168.10.x.

I can able to ping my gateway from my alteon firewall.


please let me know the procedure for getting internet connetion for the private network

via Alteon Switched Firewall.

I will be very happy if u guys send any sample configuration file for this.

Do you have NAT configured for your internal network and a rule to allow traffic out? If you've goten that far, please discribe your configuration on the firewall.

yes ! I have configured NAT in my Management server. still i cant access the internet.

I just configured static NAT with one Public IP address for my private Network

I didn't made any rules for my network now except Only one default rule that allows all the traffic.

Hi, I think You have to configure a NAT Hide with that IP address over the Network, and check in the smartview tracker if you don´t have spoofing message.
